longer Arts Residency at your school or organization.
You can choose from our menu or work with an artist to
develop your own program. KL workshops/training can

work at a local theatre space. KLPE tours excerpts
throughout the spring and summer of each year. For a

Our productions attract a wide range of audience
members; The Kuumba Lynx Performance ensemble
represents the diversity of the Chi town.

Youth: If you want to drop in to experience a 1-time
workshop in Graffiti Art, Deejaying, Footwork dance
and more or if you want to join KLPE--the Hip Hop
Theater Company-- new ensembles form every fall.

Teaching Artists/Creative Directors: Kuumba Lynx
believes in mentorship between youth and adults. We
encourage Teaching Artists to share their own
experiences and techniques while learning to work
within the KL creative philosophy and process of
training and teaching. KL opens our Teaching Artist
Roster every spring and summer. If you are interested
