Mission: KL is an arts-in-education, not-for--profit organization working to provide access to cross-cultural and interdisciplinary arts and community building. KL seeks to empower youth by developing programs that preserve, promote and present urban (Hip-Hop) culture, both as an artistic aesthetic and social justice movement. Programs foster creative expression in a non-judgmental space and preserve community stories while providing excellence in multi-disciplinary and performance art. KL believes in developing healthy hearts, minds, and bodies that will in turn create strong, community foundations of love.   Goal: Our goal is to foster creative expression in a safe and non judgmental space, and preserve the five original elements of Hip-Hop while providing excellence in interdisciplinary performance art . Kuumba Lynx wishes to provide access to the arts for youth and their families.
